Joseph Rose, MA, LAT, ATC
Head Athletic Trainer
Joe became the head athletic trainer at Legend High School in 2022. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Following graduation he went on to work at a sports recovery clinic in Highlands Ranch, CO. There he provided care to athletes from various backgrounds ranging from recreational to those competing at the highest level of their sport. After two years at the clinic, he was accepted into the Master of Athletic Training Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While in the program he gained experience in a variety of settings including high school, junior college, private clinic, and university. During his final year of the program, he was at Creighton University where he worked with multiple teams including softball, cross country, women's soccer, and tennis.

Alison Hagerty, MA, LAT, ATC
Athletic Trainer
Alison has been a certified athletic trainer with the Douglas County School District since 2022. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. After receiving her bachelor's degree she was accepted into the Master of Athletic Training program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While in the athletic training program, she was able to have experiences at both the high school and collegiate levels. During her time in the program, she was the student athletic trainer with the Creighton University baseball team. This experience led to an opportunity for her to be a part of the medical staff for the 2022 NCAA Men’s College World Series. She is currently the float athletic trainer for DCSD, so in addition to Legend, you may also see her helping out at other schools around the district.
