All "updates" will be archived in the "Important Updates" section of this site. Beginning in the Fall 2023 Boys and Girls tennis will become a cut sport. We hope to offer a competitive program for dedicated athletes to showcase their skills and passion for the game. By transitioning to a cut sport we strive to retain coaches with deeper tennis knowledge, foster excellence, teamwork, and personal growth in our players, helping them reach their full potential on the tennis court. LHS Tennis has partnered with Parker Racquet Club to offer a program suited for beginner to intermediate players. We hope tennis is a lifelong sport for our athletes, which is why we partnered with PRC. Athletes will receive instruction from certified tennis professionals learning the foundations and fundamentals of tennis. LHS tournaments, camps, etc. will always be open to all levels of players. The following is the "tentative" schedule for our 23-24 season. Some minor changes could occur. Varsity will have LHS home-court advantage while JV will play at the opponent's courts.

Pre-Season Camp Registration- Legend Titan Tennis will provide a three-day team camp for all incoming Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors to prepare them for tryouts. We will focus on strategic and competitive aspects of the game with an emphasis on patterns of play, live drill work, and scrimmaging throughout the camp. Players are required to bring their own racquet as well as water. DAYS: T, W, TH TIME: 3:30-5:30 LOCATION: LHS Tennis Courts COST: $125 includes t-shirt Alumni Tournament- August 5th- SAVE THE DATE: LHS TITAN ALUMNI TOURNEY (Co-Ed) OVERVIEW: This doubles-only tournament will have current LHS Students battle with LHS Alumni. This year's banquet will be held at LHS from 6-8:00 pm. An all-team dinner will be held in the commons, Varsity will then move to the library and JV will be in the commons for individual team celebrations. Uniforms are in and we are going to be handing them out this week in preparation for our first match this Thursday. Note: Varsity and JV1 will practice from 3:30-5:00 each day, and JV2 will practice from 5:00-6:00 pm each day. We are expecting inclement weather in the early parts of this week.
